Condor's Truely Global Reach
The Condor iBotSense Field Node (iFN) is a true IoT device

At Enablinx Safety Systems we believe the Internet of Things (IoT) and related technologies (see sidebar) will be the key to a whole new future of virtual reality and remote sensing.  Almost anything can now become an iOT enabled device with the addition of a number of new technologies that have only recently become widely available including:

  • Easily programmable low-power microprocessors
  • Detectors capable of "sensing" the real world
  • Multiple comm options for remote device control

With the addition of Satellite enabled IoT communications capabilities, we believe our technology has taken IoT lightyears into the future, allowing us to build one of the world's most advanced mobile monitoring networks.

iBotSense Field Node Technology

The CondorFSM iBotSense Remote Sensor Node is the first in a line of iBotSense Nodes we are building to address the need for advanced tracking of airplanes, trucks and other carriers. Each node is a fully self-contained, tamperproof and autonomous mobile sensor platform designed to  provide a multi-sensoral remote presence in the event of an emergency.  In addition to our standard sensor package, which includes positional, barometric and GPS sensing we also offer:

  • Environmental sensors (temperature, moisture, wind, etc)
  • Biometric sensors (heart rate, resperation, temperature, etc)
  • Intrusion sensors (video motion detection, power failure, etc)

New sensors are being developed continuously and thanks to our software can be integrated without changes to existing hardware already deployed in the field.  No matter the sensor, Condor software continuously analyzes incoming data to create a mathematical model of a vehicle and the space around it. When configurable parameters are exceed, the iFN unit will signal an alarm condition through our cloud based Condor Communications Network. Condor iFN Intelligent Analytics

To maximize the effectiveness of our iBotSense Field Node(iFN) hardware, we have developed our Condor Intelligent Analytics Software package, a real-time data analysis engine that continuously receives and interprets data from the various independent sensors attached to the iFN.  Fully configurable detectors continuously analyize sensor data and sound an alarm in the event of danger.  Our current detectors support a host of features including:

  • Remote Accessability through Wifi (local), GSM (terrestrial), Satellite (airborne)
  • Completely configurable in the Field through the Condor Cloud.
  • Securely accessible from any device (PC/Mac, Phone, Tablet)

Utilizing the graphical software tools we provide, it is a simple task to fine tune detection parameters on a trip by trip basis.  When any enabled detector is triggered, the Condor iFN will initially signal an alarm condition to ground control personnel for investigation.  If the alarm condition persists, the iFN software will then begin sending detailed position data critical to locating the vehicle in time to intervene.

The Internet of Things (IoT)

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects or "things" embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these objects to collect and exchange data.

Sensors are at the the heart of the Internet of Things (IoT)

The Internet of Things allows objects to be sensed and controlled remotely across existing network infrastructure, creating opportunities for more direct integration between the physical world and computer-based systems, and resulting in improved efficiency, accuracy and economic benefit; when IoT is augmented with sensors and actuators, the technology becomes an instance of the more general class of cyber-physical systems, which also encompasses technologies such as smart grids, smart homes, intelligent transportation and smart cities. Each thing is uniquely identifiable through its embedded computing system but is able to interoperate within the existing Internet infrastructure. Experts estimate that the IoT will consist of almost 50 billion objects by 2020. - Wikipedia
